Look to the right of “iOS Version” or “iPadOS Version” to see the version number of the operating system on your iPhone or iPad. Tap the “General” category and tap “About” at the top of the screen. To see which version of iOS or iPadOS you have running on your iPhone or iPad, first open the Settings app.

You can see your Apple device’s model name by heading to Settings > General > About and reading the “Model Name” field on your phone or tablet.
